Philosophy of Ministry

We are the Church of the Nazarene are dedicated to being a people’s church. We desire participation over spectatorship, cooperative planning over decrees of a few & worship & service opportunities tailored to the individual gifts & needs of or congregation.

We view worship as a celebration of God’s goodness and declaration of our commitment. Through music, drama, prayer and focus on the teaching of the Bible we focus our attention on God and pledge Him our discipleship.

We believe God’s message is timeless. We seek to apply God’s truth to life in our community, work, family and leisure.

We are people in progress. We recognize that Jesus Christ has not only forgiven us of the past, but has given us the opportunity to live a new and different life under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

We believe this good news is to all people, including you and your family.
No one stands outside God’s love, forgiveness and help.
